El Monte City School District's Flag Football program is available districtwide for students in 3rd grade and up! Flag Football is about having fun, making friends, and being part of something special. It is a valuable experience that enriches a child’s educational journey while helping to strengthen our community. Whether your child is eager to score a touchdown or just curious to try a new sport, this is a great opportunity to get involved.
This program, in partnership with the El Monte City Parks and Recreations Department, will allow students to dive into the world of football. They will learn the game’s fundamentals, build teamwork skills, and make new friends. Beyond the physical aspect, it also encourages communication and strategic thinking. By participating in this program, children will learn to work collaboratively, set and achieve goals, and overcome challenges, all of which are important for their personal and academic development.
We can’t wait to see our students out on the field, kicking off the season with enthusiasm and school spirit.
